Kracked Black Pan Seared Asparagus

  • 1 bunch Asparagus – thin is best, pencil size
  • 1 or 2 TBL kowboy kwAZeen KRACKED BLACK
  • 1 TBL Olive Oil (Extra Virgin if available)

 

  • Trim approximately 2 inches from bottoms of asparagus and discard. Place Oil in a large 10 or 12 inch saute pan (prefer non-stick) add the asparagus and toss to get well coated, add an additional teaspoon of oil if necessary. Turn heat to medium high. When asparagus begins to sizzle add 1 TBL of kowboy kwAZeen  KRACKED BLACK. Keep asparagus moving every few minutes and allow it to lightly blacken as it sears. Turn heat to low and continue cooking, taste and add more kowboy kwAZeen KRACKED BLACK if desired. Asparagus should remain bright green and still be slightly firm to the bite (al dente) If further doneness is desired cook an additional few minutes
