The kowboy kwAZeen (Cowboy Cuisine) ® brand of rub and seasoning products, are the invention and creation of Chef Mark Smersky.

Mark, a professionally trained chef, attended the esteemed Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and has been working in kitchens and the Food and Beverage hospitality industry since the age of 15. He began experimenting with flavor combinations and spice blending many years ago, creating rubs and seasonings.

He was intrigued how a few simple spices mingled together could taste, and the addition of one or two more ingredients could make the rub and seasoning absolutely amazing or unbelievably horrible! Then, by trial and error, tweaking, and adding a little more or a little less of each ingredient, he finally had some delicious rub and seasoning combinations.

He was often asked by friends and family, as to why he wasn’t selling his rub and seasoning concoctions? Finding himself downsized after a 16 year run as a corporate executive, the kowboy kwAZeen (Cowboy Cuisine) brand was born. Bon Appetite!
