Beer Kan Kurry Wrub Quinoa or Rice

  • 1 part Quinoa (IE: 1 cup)
  • 2 parts water or chicken broth or stock (IE: 2 cups)
  • Recipe can by decreased or increased as much as you prefer
  • If using rice, follow package cooking instructions
  • 2 or 3 TBL kowboy kwAZeen BEER KAN KURRY WRUB
  • 2 or 3 TBL Olive Oil (Extra Virgin if available)
    • Optional:
  • well drained canned diced tomatoes (½ can) Any brand of San Marzano Tomatoes is a good choice
  • and or chopped fresh cilantro 1 TBL.
  • Add all ingredients and kowboy kwAZeen BEER KAN KURRY WRUB to a 2 quart or larger sauce pan. Bring to a soft boil and turn heat to low, cover and allow to cook for 5 or 10 minutes or until tender. If adding cilantro, stir in just before serving
    • HINT: Quinoa is very easy to cook and will continue to cook and bloom even after being removed from the heat. The longer it cooks the larger and softer the grains will become, after 1 or 2 efforts you’ll know the exact timing for the doneness you prefer.
